Swiss Police Threaten to Stop Enforcing COVID Mandates

Bucking the trend of other countries that are doubling down on getting every single citizen vaccinated for COVID, Danish officials have said “no more.” They’re going back to normal work and school as of September 10,2021, when all domestic restrictions related to COVID-19 will end.

According to Danish Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke, the country’s high vaccination rate — over 70% of the population — means the pandemic is “under control” in Denmark and is no longer a “critical threat to society.”

Although Danes will no longer be required to show a coronavirus certificate (negative test results) in restaurants, gyms or other establishments, restrictions for international travelers will remain in place.
